Robert Pattinson is Bruce Wayne in director Matt Reeves‘ upcoming The Batman, and THR reports tonight that Jeffrey Wright is now in talks to play Commissioner Gordon.
James Gordon is of course the police commissioner of Gotham City, and he has been played over the years in the world of film by Pat Hingle, Gary Oldman and J.K. Simmons.
Jonah Hill is also in talks for a secret villain role (likely Riddler or Penguin), Variety adds!
Reeves is reportedly casting a “rogues gallery” of DC villains who will appear in the film.
The Batman hits theaters on June 25, 2021.
