One of the biggest surprises of the year was Adam Robitel‘s awesome Final Destination-esque Escape Room, which performed incredibly well for Sony. So much so that a sequel was quickly put into development.
Escape Room ends with just two characters surviving the game: Logan Miller‘s Ben and Taylor Russell‘s Zoey. The end of the film teased that the sole survivors are going to take the fight to the organization that nearly took their lives, and it looks like the upcoming sequel (also being directed by Robitel) will indeed continue their story.
In addition to Miller and Russell’s return, Collider is reporting that the sequel will costar Isabelle Fuhrman, best known to us horror fans as the young star of Orphan.
