We just got our hands on a really cool international sales poster for Josh Lobo’s indie debut I Trapped the Devil (review), which was released in limited theaters and on VOD platforms this past April.
Starring AJ Bowen (You’re Next, A Horrible Way to Die, The Signal), Jocelin Donahue (House of the Devil), Chris Sullivan (Stranger Things), Scott Poythress (The Signal), and Susan Burke (Southbound), the Christmas-set psychological horror focuses on a man’s descent into paranoia, after he traps what he believes to be the devil in his basement. The film reminds me of the classic “Twilight Zone” episode “The Howling Man”, which you’ll get a glimpse of in the trailer.
The following exclusive art, created by Candice Tripp (The Wind, RAW, and the Arrow’s Donnie Darko release), perfectly encapsulates the paranoia and claustrophobia that bleeds through all of I Trapped the Devil. If you haven’t seen the film yet, the holidays are upon us and this could end up becoming one of your favorite Christmas-themed horror movies.
