Art the Clown will next be seen in Damien Leone‘s Terrifier 2, which promises to be bigger, gorier and crazier than the first film. David H. Thornton is reprising the role of the killer clown, with Lauren LaVera (Clinton Road) on board to play the sequel’s female lead.
Over on Instagram this week, horror icon Felissa Rose (Sleepaway Camp) has confirmed that she’ll also be appearing in Terrifier 2! She’s playing the role of “Ms. Principe.”
“This will be an epic film and I am thrilled to be involved,” said the actress.
Rose has also confirmed IMDb’s listing that Jason Lively (Night of the Creeps) and Tamara Glynn (Halloween 5: The Revenge of Michael Myers) have also signed on.
In the upcoming sequel:
After being resurrected by a sinister entity, Art the Clown returns to Miles County where he must hunt down and destroy a teenage girl and her younger brother on Halloween.
“Can’t wait for you guys to see the epic insanity we have in store!” the team teases.
An October 2020 release is currently being eyed.
