On the road to Halloween, A Nightmare on Elm Street: Dream Warriors cinematographer Roy H. Wagner put the iPhone 11 Pro to the ultimate test, using it to shoot a recreation of a memorable sequence from Dream Warriors. The 1987 sequel was shot on 35mm, and you might be surprised by how good Wagner’s iPhone remake managed to look.
The scene was shot entirely on the iPhone 11 Pro using the FiLMiC Pro App, and it was then edited in DaVinci Resolve. The director of the remade sequence was Lukas Colombo.
