It appears Ghostbusters is preparing for some additional photography as Deadline reports that the hilarious Oliver Cooper will be joining the cast. You may remember Cooper from Project X and his excellent performance in Amazon Studios’ “Red Oaks”. He was also mind-blowing as David Berkowitz in Netflix’s “Mindhunter”.
The new film, a sequel to the original classic, centers on a family that moves back home to a small town where they learn more about who they are.
Dan Aykroyd recently confirmed that he’ll be appearing in the film with Bill Murray and Ernie Hudson also returning to their roles.
The cast also includes Sigourney Weaver, Paul Rudd, Finn Wolfhard, Mckenna Grace, Carrie Coon, Celeste O’Connor and Logan Kim.
Ghostbusters will return to theaters on July 10, 2020.
