Jeremy Saulnier, the man behind Murder Party, Blue Ruin, Green Room and Hold the Dark, is re-teaming with Netflix for the thriller Rebel Ridge, Variety reports tonight, and John Boyega (Attack the Block, Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker) has come on board to star.
Variety describes Saulnier’s new film as “a high-velocity thriller that explores systemic American injustices through bone-breaking action sequences, suspense and dark humor.”
Filmscience and Bonneville Pictures are co-producing Rebel Ridge alongside Saulnier, Anish Savjani, Neil Kopp, Vincent Savino. Macon Blair is set to executive produce.
