Burt Gummer will once again return to once again kill Graboids in the upcoming Tremors 7, but when we catch back up with him, well, he’s going to look quite a bit different.
Michael Gross shared a preview of his look for the new movie over on Facebook last night, giving you your first taste of “Burt Gummer as you’ve never seen him before.”
Gross, who actually did play Santa in the 2015 TV movie Becoming Santa, is looking like an angry Claus for the seventh installment in the franchise, with his trademark mustache buried under a full beard and his bald head covered with flowing white locks. This is indeed Burt Gummer as we’ve never seen him before, and you can check out the preview below!
The cast also includes Jon Heder, Richard Brake, Caroline Langrishe, Jackie Cruz, Cassie Clare, Sahajak Boonthanakit, Matthew Douglas, Randy Kalsi, Bear Williams, David Assavanon, Boonma Lamphon, Aukrawut Rojaunawat, Owen Macrae, Iris Park and Mikey Black.
In the reportedly-titled Tremors: Island Fury:
“The deadly Graboids are back, illegally brought in to a new island resort by a rich playboy looking for a trophy hunt.”
Brian Brightly wrote the screenplay with Universal Home Entertainment regular Don Michael Paul returning to direct. He previously got behind the camera for Tremors 5: Bloodlines and last year’s Tremors: A Cold Day in Hell, as well as several other Universal home video titles.
