Universal Pictures and Blumhouse’s Black Christmas spreads holiday fear this coming Friday the 13th and we’ve got a pair of clips from the Sophia Takal-directed slasher that puts an entirely new spin on Bob Clark’s 1974 classic.
The footage appears to come from earlier scenes, although still a bit spoiler-y (unless you’ve already watched the trailers). The first shows the sorority girls being taunted via text. Green Room actress Imogen Poots appears visibly shook while her friends are laughing it off. Things turn serious when an invader starts shooting arrows.
The second looks to take place a scene or two later in which the girls have taken down the invader only to be confronted by a second. It’s the moment they realize they’re under attack by an army of intruders.
