[Trailer] ‘Camp Cold Brook’ Starring Danielle Harris and Exec Produced by Joe Dante Releasing Next Month

We finally have a date for the supernatural horror film Camp Cold Brook, which was executive produced by Joe Dante and directed by Andy Palmer (The Funhouse Massacre).

Danielle Harris (Halloween 4 & 5, Rob Zombie’s Halloween, Hatchet II) and Chad Michael Murray (House of Wax) star in the film, releasing in select theaters and on VOD February 14.

In the film, “Murray stars as reality TV producer and host Jack Wilson, who finds himself in a tough spot when his show is about to be canceled. In a last-ditch effort to spark ratings, he and his producer Angela (Harris) choose to film their next episode at the legendary Camp Cold Brook, which was host to a horrific incident where the young campers were drowned in a nearby creek 20 years ago. Their arrival begins like any other episode… but the TV crew find that they get more than they bargained for.

Michael Eric Reid, Courtney Gains and Candice De Visser also star.

‘Drop’ – Violett Beane Joins the Cast of Christopher Landon’s New Thriller

Christopher Landon (Happy Death Day, Freaky) is staying busy here in 2024, directing not only the werewolf movie Big Bad but also an upcoming thriller titled Drop.

The project for Blumhouse and Platinum Dunes is being described as a “fast-paced thriller,” and Deadline reports today that Violett Beane (Truth or Dare) has joined the cast.

Newcomer Jacob Robinson has also signed on to star in the mysterious thriller. Previously announced, Meghann Fahy (“White Lotus”) will be leading the cast.

Landon recently teased on Twitter, “This is my love letter to DePalma.”

Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach wrote the script.

Michael Bay, Jason Blum, Brad Fuller and Cameron Fuller — “who brought the script in to Platinum Dunes” — are producing the upcoming Drop. Sam Lerner is an executive producer.

THR notes, “The film is a Platinum Dunes and Blumhouse production for Universal.”
