Letterboxd kicks off every year by putting together a multi-faceted look at the movies their users collectively rated highest from the previous year, and they break down the films into various categories including genre. We’re always interested to see which horror films were rated highest by the Letterboxd community each year, and 2019’s list has arrived today.

Robert Eggers’ The Lighthouse also cracked the top 10 of Letterboxd’s “Highest Rated Overall,” coming in at #6. Interesting to note, it’s also #5 on the “Highest Rated Drama” list.
One Cut of the Dead made another list too, coming in at #9 as a “Highest Rated International Feature.” Jordan Peele’s Us came in at #5 on the “Most Popular Overall” list.
