Netflix has a huge hit on their hands with “The Witcher,” an adaptation of Andrzej Sapkowski’s novels that will soon spawn a spinoff in the form of an animated feature film!
Netflix is developing an animated film titled Nightmare of the Wolf, which expands the world of “The Witcher” and “explores a powerful new threat facing the Continent.”
The Wrap reports that the film comes from “The Witcher” showrunner Lauren Schmidt Hissrich and producer Beau DeMayo, as well as animation house Studio Mir.
The streaming service reported yesterday that 76 million subscribers have watched at least some portion of the first season of “The Witcher,” and a second season is on the way.
