Bloody Disgusting’s Boo Crew Podcast just unleashed a brand new episode this week that features an in-depth interview with Floria Sigismondi, the director of this weekend’s new horror film The Turning. Sigismondi, in addition to directing the 2010 film The Runaways, has directed a handful of music videos, notably including Marilyn Manson’s The Beautiful People.
What’s next, after The Turning? Sigismondi teased another horror film during the chat!
“I’m working on an independent feature. Ready to talk about very, very soon,” she teased.
“Yeah, [it’s horror]. It’s psychological…thriller.”
As for The Turning, be sure to pay close attention to the set design when you go see it this weekend. Sigismondi notes, “All the paintings on the walls…they’re there for a reason.”
