Elijah Wood and Stephen McHattie Swap Elton John Stories in Tense ‘Come to Daddy’ Clip

Ant Timpson‘s directorial debut Come to Daddy is headed to select theaters, VOD, and Digital on February 7, 2020, and we’ve been provided with a great clip by Saban today.

In the film, Elijah Wood plays a man in his thirties who receives a cryptic invitation to a remote cabin for a visit with his father after a lifetime of estrangement.

He quickly discovers that not only is dad a jerk, but he also has a shady past that is rushing to catch up with both of them. Now, hundreds of miles from his cushy comfort zone, Norval must battle with demons, both real and perceived, in order to reconnect with a father he barely knows.

The father of Wood’s character is played by genre vet Stephen McHattie, and in this tense (and highly entertaining) clip, they swap Elton John stories that probably aren’t true…

Bloody Disgusting’s Meagan Navarro reviewed the film out of the World Premiere, writing that it’s an “insane crowd-pleaser” with “absurd thrills, chills, and guffaws.
