Three clips have been released from Columbia Pictures’ Fantasy Island, opening in theaters this Valentine’s Day weekend.
In Fantasy Island, directed by Truth or Dare’s Jeff Wadlow, “The Enigmatic Mr. Roarke (played by Michael Peña) makes the secret dreams of his lucky guests come true at a luxurious but remote tropical resort. But when the fantasies turn into nightmares, the guests have to solve the island’s mystery in order to escape with their lives.”
The first clip introduces the rules, where Mr. Roarke explains that fantasies rarely go the way they are expected, but play out how they truly would. It’s a menacing prophecy, which goes hand-in-hand with the second bit in which a woman is shown her room with the promise that her life will change forever. Lastly, there’s more chatter about the rules before Truth or Dare’s Lucy Hale takes a creepy elevator down to her fantasy.
