Katie Holmes stars in STX Entertainment’s sequel Brahms: The Boy II, and a brand new trailer has arrived today to remind you that the film is releasing next week.
Brahms will return to the big screen on February 21, 2020.
The first film had revealed that the doll was just an ordinary doll and that the real Brahms was a full-grown madman living in the walls, and it’s hard to tell exactly what the approach is with the sequel. This latest trailer seems to suggest that the doll itself wants to come to life, while also teasing that the kid at the center of the story is set to become the new Brahms.
Or maybe he’s the one and only Brahms? Is this a prequel, perhaps? Sound off below.
William Brent Bell returned to direct, and Stacey Menear returned to script.
Unaware of the terrifying history of Heelshire Mansion, a young family moves into the estate, where their young son soon makes an unsettling new friend, an eerily life-like doll he calls Brahms.
Owain Yeoman, Christopher Convery, and Ralph Ineson also star.
