In the wake of its premiere at Tribeca earlier this year, IFC Films has set Swallow, the feature debut of Carlo Mirabella-Davis, for release in theaters and on VOD platforms this coming Friday, March 6, 2020.
Swallow is described as a “feminist horror film,” with Haley Bennett in the lead role.
In the film, “A newly pregnant housewife (Bennett) develops a strange and dangerous compulsion to consume inedible objects.”
“As her husband (Austin Stowell) and his family tighten and exert more control over her life, she is forced to confront the dark secret behind her uncontrollable obsession.”
