It’s only 42-seconds long but a brand new trailer for Lionsgate’s Antebellum has arrived today, and it once again only lightly teases the “mind-bending mystery” we’re in store for.
From the producer of Get Out and Us, this one looks like it’s going to be another powerful conversation piece about race relations in America, promising to be must-watch horror.

Antebellum stars Janelle Monáe as successful author Veronica Henley, who finds herself trapped in a horrifying reality and must uncover the mind-bending mystery before it’s too late.
The film also stars Marque Richardson II, Eric Lange, Jack Huston, Kiersey Clemons, Tongayi Chirisa, Gabourey Sidibe, Rob Aramayo, Lily Cowles, and Jena Malone.
In theaters April 24th, Antebellum was directed by Gerard Bush and Christopher Renz.
