We’re only two months away from the return of Jigsaw, from the book of Saw, who may or may not appear in Darren Lynn Bousman‘s Spiral, which stars both Chris Rock and Samuel L. Jackson.
Working in the shadow of an esteemed police veteran (Jackson), brash Detective Ezekiel “Zeke” Banks (Rock) and his rookie partner (Max Minghella) take charge of a grisly investigation into murders that are eerily reminiscent of the city’s gruesome past. Unwittingly entrapped in a deepening mystery, Zeke finds himself at the center of the killer’s morbid game.
The new UK poster art shows Rock investigating a murder that’s tagged with a familiar calling card: the infamous spiral seen in the Saw franchise.
Lionsgate’s Spiral has officially been rated “R” for:
“Sequences of grisly bloody violence and torture, pervasive language, some sexual references and brief drug use.”
