A24 Auctioning Off Movie Props Including Light from ‘The Lighthouse’ and Flower Dress from ‘Midsommar’

With New York currently being hit hard by the coronavirus, New York-based company A24 has decided to lend a hand by auctioning off some memorable props and costumes from their movies, including horror films Hereditary, Midsommar and The Lighthouse. ALL proceeds from A24 Auctions will be donated to four different NYC-based charities.

A24 explains, “As a company founded and based in NYC, A24 wants to give back to the city as it weathers this crisis and begins to rebuild. 100% of each auction’s proceeds will be donated to one of four charities helping NYC’s hardest-hit communities and frontline workers: FDNY Foundation; Food Bank For NYC; NYC Health + Hospitals; and Queens Community House.”

First up, the “A24 Attic Auction” goes live at 12pm EST today, April 22nd. It includes screen-used props from Eighth Grade, Euphoria, Mid 90s and Ari Aster’s Hereditary.

A Midsommar-themed auction goes live on April 27th, which will include 10 items from the film such as the flower dress, a Hårga mallet and the headpiece from the bear costume.

In the wake of an Uncut Gems auction, 4 items from Robert Eggers’ The Lighthouse will be auctioned off on May 11th. Included? The carved mermaid and that infamous light itself.
