Bruce Willis Plays a Nasty Game of Operation in This Clip from Rated “R” Home Invasion Thriller ‘Survive the Night’

Bruce Willis and Chad Michael Murray star in director Matt Eskandari‘s (12 Feet Deep) new home invasion thriller Survive the Night, which heads our way bearing an “R” rating that promises “violence, bloody images and language throughout.” Lionsgate will digitally release Survive the Night on May 22, and we’ve got an exclusive clip to share with you today.

In the film, “After his brother Mathias (Tyler Jon Olson) is mortally wounded in a robbery gone bad, Jamie (Shea Buckner) stalks trauma doctor Rich (Chad Michael Murray, “One Tree Hill”) from the hospital to his home. While holding Rich’s wife and daughter hostage, the unhinged murderer forces Rich to operate on Mathias. But in order for him and his family to survive the night, Rich must team up with his estranged tough-as-nails father, retired sheriff Frank (Bruce Willis), in order to gain the upper hand and turn the tables on the criminals.”

This clip would seem to take place at the start of the home invasion, with Bruce Willis and Chad Michael Murray’s characters forced to play a gruesome game of Operation in an attempt to save the life of Tyler Jon Olson’s character. With a scalpel lying beside him, Willis’ character gets an idea, making what is sure to be the first of many attempts to outwit the invaders.

Some of that rated “R” gore is on display in the clip, and we wouldn’t have it any other way. We know our audience and we know you like the red stuff. Check it out below…

Lydia Hull and Jessica Abrams also star.
