HBO Max is developing “a satirical horror tale” titled Shell, Deadline reports today, with Max Minghella (Teen Spirit) attached to direct a spec script penned by Jack Stanley.
Deadline details, “Logline for the script is under wraps but sources said it is a satirical horror tale with sci-fi elements, set in the health and beauty industry.”
Producers include Automatik’s Fred Berger and Alicia Van Couvering, along with Minghella through Blank Tape. Executive producers include Jamie Bell and Brian Kavanaugh-Jones.
