While we continue to wait for third franchise installment The Collected (and yes, it’s really happening), Bloody Disgusting will be celebrating 2009’s trilogy-starter The Collector this weekend, with the Marcus Dunstan-directed horror movie airing at 9pm EST this Saturday, October 17th, on The Roku Channel’s *free* Bloody Disgusting TV streaming channel.
Not only are we showing The Collector, but writer Patrick Melton and writer/director Marcus Dunstan will be joining us, live tweeting along with the film on their Twitter accounts!

Josh Stewart stars in The Collector as Arkin, an ex-con who plots a heist at his new employer’s country home, unaware that a second criminal has also targeted the property and rigged it with a series of deadly traps. The film was followed by sequel The Collection in 2012, with The Collected soon set to continue the gory adventures of Arkin and “The Collector.”
