We had learned earlier this month that Stephen Lang had wrapped filming on the upcoming sequel to Don’t Breathe, suggesting that the film itself was either wrapped or very close. And today we’ve been provided with a release date via Sony’s Screen Gems.
Don’t Breathe 2 will bring The Blind Man back to the screen on August 13, 2021.
The sequel was directed by Rodo Sayagues, and co-written with Fede Alvarez.

In Don’t Breathe 2, the Blind Man has been hiding out for years in an isolated cabin and has taken in and raised a young girl orphaned from a house fire.
Their quiet existence is shattered when a group of kidnappers show up and take the girl, forcing the Blind Man to leave his safe haven to save her.
