‘Nobody’ Featurette Turns Bob Odenkirk Into a Real-Life Badass! [Video]

Bob Odenkirk as Hutch Mansell in Nobody, directed by Ilya Naishuller.

Who said you can’t teach an old dog new tricks? Nobody.

In Universal Pictures’ action-thriller Nobody, filmmaker Ilya Naishuller (Hardcore Henry) turns comedian Bob Odenkirk into an (unlikely) ass-kicking vigilante.

In the film, the Emmy winner stars as Hutch Mansell, an underestimated and overlooked dad and husband, taking life’s indignities on the chin and never pushing back. A nobody.

When two thieves break into his suburban home one night, Hutch declines to defend himself or his family, hoping to prevent serious violence.

The aftermath of the incident strikes a match to Hutch’s long-simmering rage, triggering dormant instincts and propelling him on a brutal path that will surface dark secrets and lethal skills. In a barrage of fists, gunfire and squealing tires, Hutch must save his family from a dangerous adversary – and ensure that he will never be underestimated as a nobody again.

Universal has shared a behind-the-scenes featurette from Nobody, in theaters March 26th, in which Bob Odenkirk talks about his shocking transformation from comedian to an absolute real-life badass.

“I wanted to commit completely and go all the way into utterly unapologetic rage.”
