I’m aware “stranded” and “trapped” could mean the very same thing, but in the case of M. Night Shyamalan‘s latest thriller, Old, the stranded are also trapped.
In the film, a family on a tropical holiday discovers that the secluded beach where they are relaxing for a few hours is somehow causing them to age rapidly.
In addition to the footage shared last week, we have two new clips from Old in which a few vacationers panic when they realize there’s also no escaping their purgatory.
Universal will be releasing Old, based on the graphic novel Sandcastle by Pierre Oscar Lévy and Frederik Peeters, in theaters on July 23, 2021.
