Another Somber Shot From A24’s ‘Lamb’

Published

on

A24 is back with their next dramatic horror film, Lamb, which turns on a couple who raise a baby that’s half human, half sheep.

We already have a trailer and a pair of stills, but today we get one more that looks as if Noomi Rapace‘s character is giving the human lamb baby a bath.

Lamb is a Christmas-set Biblical horror story of a childless couple, María (Prometheus star Noomi Rapace) and Ingvar (Hilmir Snaer Gudnason), who are sheep farmers in Iceland. On Christmas Eve they find a newborn who is half human, half sheep.

Hyped as “batshit crazy,” Lamb will open in theaters on October 8th. Hopefully it’ll also get a PVOD release timed alongside theatrical.

Landon recently teased on Twitter, “This is my love letter to DePalma.”

Jillian Jacobs and Chris Roach wrote the script.

Michael Bay, Jason Blum, Brad Fuller and Cameron Fuller — “who brought the script in to Platinum Dunes” — are producing the upcoming Drop. Sam Lerner is an executive producer.

THR notes, “The film is a Platinum Dunes and Blumhouse production for Universal.”
