While we continue waiting for her return in the fourth season of “Stranger Things,” Winona Ryder has set up her next feature film project, Deadline reports this afternoon.
Ryder has joined the cast of a mystery thriller titled The Cow, which will be directed by Eli Horowitz (“Homecoming”). Plot details, at this time, are being kept under wraps.
Dermot Mulroney (Insidious: Chapter 3), John Gallagher Jr. (Hush, 10 Cloverfield Lane, Belko Experiment), Owen Teague (“Stand”) and Brianne Tju also star.
Horowitz wrote the movie’s script with Matthew Derby.
The Cow is produced by Raphael Margules and JD Lifshitz of BoulderLight Pictures (The Vigil, Becky) with Shaun Sanghani of SSS Entertainment and Russ Posternak of Post Film. Anthony Eu of Singapore-based mm2 Asia is executive producer, and BoulderLight’s Tracy Rosenblum is co-producer.
