‘Talk to Me’ – Poster for A24’s Next Horror Movie; Trailer Debuts Tomorrow
A24 recently acquired the hot Sundance horror title Talk to Me, and the Australian horror movie will be released wide in theaters on July 28, 2023. We’ve been promised that the official trailer will arrive tomorrow, April 11, and you can check out A24’s poster below.
The film follows a group of teenage friends that takes up communion with the spirits as a party activity. Mia (Sophia Wilde) looks to connect with the supernatural following the death of her mother, but a séance gone wrong carries terrifying consequences for the group.
Sophia Wilde, Miranda Otto, Alexandra Jensen, Joe Bird, Otis Djanji and Zoe Terakes star.
Danny and Michael Philippou (YouTube’s RackaRacka) wrote and directed Talk to Me.
Meagan Navarro wrote in her Sundance review for BD, “Talk to Me delivers an intense, nightmarish horror movie that’ll leave you breathless.” The review continued, “There’s a refreshing ruthlessness to this cautionary tale that plays like a surge of adrenaline; it makes for one hell of an introduction to Danny and Michael Philippou’s brand of horror.”
