Up next from filmmaker Brian Duffield (Spontaneous) is a movie titled No One Will Save You, an intense sci-fi psychological thriller that begins streaming on September 22, exclusively on Hulu. A brand new clip demonstrates just how intense Duffield’s latest will get.

Preview the clip below that brings a familiar horror set up- hiding under the bed- and wrings palpable tension from it.

No One Will Save You introduces Brynn Adams (Kaitlyn Dever), a creative and talented young woman who’s been alienated from her community. Lonely but ever hopeful, Brynn finds solace within the walls of the home where she grew up—until she’s awakened one night by strange noises from decidedly unearthly intruders.

What follows is an action-packed face-off between Brynn and a host of extraterrestrial beings who threaten her future while forcing her to deal with her past.

Duffield previously told Bloody Disgusting, “One of the things that I’m really excited about is that [the trailer] hides two of the big hooks or twists of the movie that audiences will realize very quickly into watching the movie. The other fun thing that the trailer does is that it gives a lot of glimpses of aliens. Our movie, to be pretty blunt about it, when they walk in, eight minutes in, there’s very little hide and seek. It’s not 90 minutes of hide and seek. The movie, especially for a movie of this budget size, is floor-to-ceiling with aliens. It’s nonstop.”

Written and directed by Brian Duffield, the 20th Century Studios film features music by composer Joseph Trapanese. Tim White, Trevor White, Allan Mandelbaum and Duffield produce, and Dever and Joshua Throne executive produce.

No One Will Save You is rated PG-13 for “violent content and terror.”

insidious 5 trailer

In the wake of last year’s box office hit Insidious: The Red Door, Sony has announced tonight that the next installment in the Insidious franchise has been dated for 2025 release.

You can expect the untitled next movie in theaters August 29, 2025.

Deadline notes in their report tonight that this particular project is NOT the previously announced spinoff movie Thread: An Insidious Tale, which doesn’t yet have a release date.

Mandy Moore and Kumail Nanjiani will star in Thread: An Insidious Tale.

Director James Wan’s original Insidious movie in 2011 was followed by Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), Insidious: Chapter 3 (2015), Insidious: The Last Key (2018), and last year’s Insidious: The Red Door, which became the highest grossing movie in the entire franchise thus far.

Needless to say, this franchise still has a lot of life left in it. Stay tuned for more.
