Bloody Disgusting’s SCREAMBOX is incredibly proud to be the streaming home of RoboDoc: The Creation of RoboCop, a four-part SCREAMBOX Original Series that dives deep into the making of Paul Verhoeven’s iconic classic, RoboCop. In addition to all four episodes now streaming only on SCREAMBOX, you can also grab a physical copy on Blu-ray now.

While we released the documentary series this past Halloween season, RoboDoc has had a good bit of viral fame on social media this week. Why, you ask? Because of one particular behind the scenes anecdote that’s relayed in the series, which fans have been sharing around.

In this clip from RoboDoc, weapons master Randy E. Moore shares a story about RoboCop star Peter Weller, who one day had a serious craving for Oreos on the set of the film.

“I went upstairs and I was carrying about eight Oreos in a stack,” Moore recounts, weaving a hilarious tale from filming at the steel mill location. “I’d hand [Peter] his weapon and I’d say, ‘Peter, safety’s off.’ And he wouldn’t take the pistol. And he says, ‘Robo wants an Oreo.’ And I looked at him and I go, ‘No. It’s just you and I, Peter. Robo doesn’t get an Oreo. If PETER wants an Oreo, Peter can have an Oreo.’ And he clip-clops in the suit, over to the edge of the railing, and Peter starts bellowing, ‘Robo wants an Oreo!’ And the steel mill just echoes.”

Moore proceeded to stuff the entire stack of Oreos in his mouth, defiant in the face of Weller’s in-character request. The clip is particularly hilarious because it ends with Weller chiming in with his own recollection of the events of that date. Or rather, his lack of recollection. “I haven’t got a damn clue about Randy Moore and his fuckin’ Oreos,” an agitated Weller explains.

And you thought RoboCop only had a taste for baby food…
