I.S.S. Trailer

The war on Earth will be decided in space in Bleeker Street‘s upcoming sci-fi thriller I.S.S., and a brand new trailer unveiled today teases the paranoia-laden crew battling for control aboard the International Space Station.

I.S.S. releases in theaters on January 19, 2024.

In I.S.S., “Tensions flare in the near future aboard the International Space Station as a worldwide conflict breaks out on Earth. Reeling from this, the astronauts receive orders from the ground: take control of the station by any means necessary.”

Watch the new trailer below that sets the battle lines and tense atmosphere as the astronauts are pit against each other in the claustrophobic thriller.

Director Gabriela Cowperthwaite, working with Nick Shafir’s Blacklist script, assembled an impressive cast for the sci-fi thriller that includes Academy Award winner Ariana DeBose, Chris Messina (The Boogeyman), Pilou Asbaek (Run Sweetheart Run, “Game of Thrones”), John Gallagher Jr. (10 Cloverfield Lane, Hush), Costa Ronin, and Masha Mashkova.

Expect an intense, zero gravity struggle for survival between the American colleagues Kira (DeBose) and Christian (Gallagher Jr.) and their Russian counterparts Weronika (Mashkova), Alexey (Asbaek) and Nichola Pulov (Ronin).

The film made its premiere earlier this year at the Tribeca Film Festival.

The film was produced by LD Entertainment’s Mickey Liddell and Pete Shilaimon, with Michael Glassman, Mehrdod Heydari, Jacob Yacob, Joseph Yakob, and Alison Semenza serving as executive producers.

Horror journalist, RT Top Critic, and Critics Choice Association member. Co-Host of the Bloody Disgusting Podcast. Has appeared on PBS series' Monstrum, served on the SXSW Midnighter shorts jury, and moderated horror panels for WonderCon and SeriesFest.

insidious 5 trailer

In the wake of last year’s box office hit Insidious: The Red Door, Sony has announced tonight that the next installment in the Insidious franchise has been dated for 2025 release.

You can expect the untitled next movie in theaters August 29, 2025.

Deadline notes in their report tonight that this particular project is NOT the previously announced spinoff movie Thread: An Insidious Tale, which doesn’t yet have a release date.

Mandy Moore and Kumail Nanjiani will star in Thread: An Insidious Tale.

Director James Wan’s original Insidious movie in 2011 was followed by Insidious: Chapter 2 (2013), Insidious: Chapter 3 (2015), Insidious: The Last Key (2018), and last year’s Insidious: The Red Door, which became the highest grossing movie in the entire franchise thus far.

Needless to say, this franchise still has a lot of life left in it. Stay tuned for more.
