‘Terrifier 3’: Filming Has Wrapped on Damien Leone’s Christmas Slasher Sequel!
The return of Art the Clown is getting closer and closer. Bloody Disgusting can announce this morning that filming has officially wrapped on Damien Leone’s upcoming Terrifier 3!
Cineverse and Bloody Disgusting are reteaming with Iconic Events Releasing as the theatrical distribution partner for Terrifier 3, coming to theaters nationwide later this year.

In the sequel to smash hit Terrifier 2, “Art the Clown is set to unleash chaos on the unsuspecting residents of Miles County as they peacefully drift off to sleep on Christmas Eve.”
Terrifier 3 was named by USA Today as one of the Top 10 most anticipated Horror films of 2024. Following its theatrical run, Cineverse plans to release the film across all platforms, including its SCREAMBOX horror streaming service. Terrifier is also bleeding into other areas, including podcasts and novelizations, and you can also grab new Terrifier shirts at Spencer’s!
Terrifier 3 is written and directed by Leone. Returning cast includes Lauren LaVera, David Howard Thornton, Samantha Scaffidi, Elliot Fullam, and AEW superstar Chris Jericho.

Terrifier 3 comes courtesy of Dark Age Cinema Productions. Phil Falcone Produces with Lisa Falcone acting as Executive Producer. Co-producers include Michael Leavy, Jason Leavy, George Steuber, and Steve Della Salla. Brad Miska, Brandon Hill, and Erick Opeka Executive Produce for Cineverse. Matthew Helderman and Luke Taylor also Executive Produce.
The new horror movie from New Line Cinema and director Zach Cregger (Barbarian), the upcoming Weapons is assembling an impressive cast, with Josh Brolin (Dune 2) and Julia Garner (The Royal Hotel) recently signing on. Deadline reports today that Alden Ehrenreich (Cocaine Bear) is the latest actor to join the cast of Cregger’s new movie.
The upcoming Weapons is from writer/director Zach Cregger, who will also produce alongside his Barbarian producing team: Roy Lee of Vertigo and J.D. Lifshitz and Raphael Margules of BoulderLight Pictures. Vertigo’s Miri Yoon also produces.
The Hollywood Reporter teases, “Plot details for Weapons are being kept holstered but it is described as a multi and inter-related story horror epic that tonally is in the vein of Magnolia, the 1999 actor-crammed showcase from filmmaker Paul Thomas Anderson.”
Cregger was a founding member and writer for the New York comedy troupe “The Whitest Kids U’Know,” which he started while attending The School of Visual Arts. The award-winning group’s self-titled sketch comedy show ran for five seasons on IFC-TV and Fuse. He was also a series regular on Jimmy Fallon’s NBC series “Guys with Kids” and the TBS hit series “Wrecked,” and was featured in a recurring role on the NBC series “About a Boy.”
Weapons will be distributed worldwide by Warner Bros. Pictures.
