It centers on Drew, a lonely insomniac who clings to the online comfort of Miss Mutter, a seductive ASMR-style creator whose videos promise intimacy and unconditional care. When he wins a competition to meet her in person, Drew follows the call with blind devotion.
His fantasy curdles into a waking hallucination of affection and manipulation. As Drew is pushed deeper into submission, the boundaries of performance, identity, and worship collapse.
The Human Centipede‘s Laurence R. Harvey stars alongside Megan Tremethick and Stephen Kerr.
Tremethick also directs from a script she co-wrote with Lawrie Brewster. British Horror Studio produces.
“We were interested in how easily comfort can be mistaken for safety and what happens when that assumption is quietly tested,” Tremethick tells Bloody Disgusting.
Spoiling You will make its world premiere at the Romford Horror Film Festival in London, UK, on February 21.
