Josh Duhamel (Transformers) and Dylan Sprouse (Big Daddy) will star as father and son in the serial killer thriller Neglected.
THR reports that Inaugural Entertainment has acquired North American distribution rights to the film and is eying an April theatrical release.
The film centers on Detective Shaw (Duhamel), who faces an unexpected battle for survival during his final day on the job. He must race to solve a series of murders in order to save his son from a serial killer.
The cast also includes Til Schweiger (Inglourious Basterds), Jason London (Dazed and Confused), Jeremy London (Mallrats), Corbin Pitts (“True Detective”), and Elena Sanchez (The Hunger Games: Catching Fire).
David Lipper directs from a script he co-wrote with Adam G. Levine. Lipper, Robert A. Daly Jr., Mark Canton, Dorothy Canton, and Ryan Winterstern produce.
