A horror-comedy take on contemporary housing anxieties, Hold the Fort will soon unleash monsters in your home.
Variety reports that Sunrise Films has acquired the North American rights from Blue Finch Films with plans for a summer release.
The film centers on Lucas and Jenny, who think their life is finally coming together when the couple become first-time homeowners. Little do they know that their new house comes with a big catch.
Lucas and Jenny soon find themselves in a fight for survival when they become trapped in a battle between their Homeowners Association and an onslaught of monsters from Hell.

Hold the Fort premiered at Fantasia last summer before going on to play FrightFest London, Toronto After Dark, and Beyond Fest.

Hold the Fort has also been acquired by Signature Entertainment for the UK and Ireland, Lighthouse Home Entertainment for Germany, Mediawan Rights for France, Wild Duck Productions for Spain, and Vendetta Filmes for Portugal.
