‘Redux Redux’ Exclusive Clip Unleashes Violent Revenge in the Multiverse
A grieving mother gets brutal revenge in our exclusive clip from Redux Redux.
Written and directed by brothers Kevin McManus & Matthew McManus (The Block Island Sound), the sci-fi revenge thriller hits theaters on February 20 via Saban Films.
The official synopsis: “In an attempt to avenge her daughter’s death, Irene Kelly travels through parallel universes, killing her daughter’s murderer over and over again. With each kill, she grows addicted to the revenge streak, putting her own humanity in jeopardy.”

The film marks the first production from Mothership Motion Pictures, formed by the McManus brothers, PJ McCabe (The Beta Test), Nate Cormier (“Star Wars: The Clone Wars”), and Michael J. McGarry (The Wolf of Snow Hollow).
“Redux Redux takes the tired multiverse concept and makes it feel fresh through its gritty, grounded approach and tautly wound storytelling,” I wrote in my review out of SXSW. “Slickly directed and cleverly told, Redux Redux makes for a dread-soaked and pleasantly unpredictable surprise of an indie sci-fi thriller.”
Redux Redux is rated R for “strong violence, language throughout, some sexual references, and brief drug use.”

In the horror movie, “A routine domestic flight turns into the flight from hell through a series of inexplicable phenomena and raw terror. Surreal encounters blur the boundaries between reality and nightmare. Passengers fight against all the odds in an attempt to survive while combating bizarre technological malfunctions, accelerating supernatural events, and alien influences.”
The film is based on the short film The Vessel, and an original screenplay from horror writer Stephen Susco (The Grudge, The Grudge 2, Texas Chainsaw 3D, Hell Fest).
Steven Quale (Into the Storm, Final Destination 5) directs.

Hammerstone Studios’ Alex Lebovici (Barbarian, Boy Kills World) and Jon Oakes (Drive, The Guilty) will produce alongside Capstone’s Christian Mercuri and David Haring (Bill & Ted Face the Music), Warren Zide (The Final Destination, American Pie), and Susco. Ruzanna Kegeyan and Roman Viaris of Capstone, and Clark Baker (Vessel) will executive produce.
