Since the arthouse slasher lacks a score, Mutant teamed up with director Chris Nash and sound design team Tim Atkins and Michelle Hwu to create an all-new walk-and-stalk album.
The exclusive releases features forest ambience and Johnny trudging through the organic matter of the woods. The sound gradually shifts over time, culminating in a blood-curdling kill at the end of each side.
The one-off pressing is limited to 300 copies on clear vinyl with reverse blood splatter for $30. A special variant filled with blood-soaked leaves is limited to only 30 and costs $90.
Expected to ship in March, both editions housed in a handmade fold-over sleeve.
Johnny will return in In a Violent Nature 2, coming soon from Independent Film Company and Shudder.
