Nico Postiglione directs the feature starring Catrin Striebeck, Tilo Werner, Teodoro Bustos, and Fernanda Finsterbusch.
FilmSharks acquired international sales rights to the 1950s Valdivia-set thriller ahead of its premiere last year at Fantastic Fest. Postiglione previously said of the film ahead of its festival run, “We set out to weave together drama, thriller, and even moments of terror. Fantastic Fest feels like the right home for a story rooted deep in the past of Chile.”
FilmSharks acquisitions executive Sofía Terán Corsini called the film a “psychotic slow-burn gem.”
The Chile-Mexico co-production is now playing in Chilean theaters, but stay tuned for domestic distribution news as it arrives.
