A24 has released a set of Mother Mary character posters featuring Anne Hathaway, Michaela Coel, Hunter Schafer, Kaia Gerber, and FKA Twigs.
Written and directed by David Lowery (The Green Knight, A Ghost Story), the psychosexual pop thriller opens April 17.
In the film, long-buried wounds rise to the surface when iconic pop star Mother Mary (Hathaway) reunites with her estranged best friend and former costume designer Sam Anselm (Coel) on the eve of her comeback performance.
Atheena Frizzell, Jessica Brown Findlay, Alba Baptista, Isaura Barbé-Brown, and Sian Clifford round out the cast.
Lowery, Toby Halbrooks, and James M. Johnston produce alongside Jeanie Igoe of Homebird Productions and Jonas Katzenstein, Maximilian Leo, & Jonathan Saubach of Augenschein Filmproduktion.
