‘Sinister’ Kicks Off Regal’s Monthly Horror Screening Series in April

Scientifically proven as the scariest movie ever made based on viewer heart rate, Sinister is returning to the big screen this month.

The 2012 horror film will play at Regal Cinemas on April 13 with tickets only $13.

It kicks off a monthly screening series curated by our friends at Fangoria, which will bring genre favorites to Regal screens on the 13th of every month.

Attendees receive a free Fangoria Staff Picks patch at each screening, along with deals for Regal Crown Club members and exclusive content from Fango staff.

In Sinister, a washed-up true-crime writer finds a box of gruesome home movies in his family’s new house. Desperate to unravel the mystery, his dark discoveries ultimately put him and his family in the grip of a malevolent force.

Ethan Hawke stars with Juliet Rylance, Fred Thompson, James Ransone, Clare Foley, and Michael Hall D’Addario.

Scott Derrickson (The Black Phone, The Exorcism of Emily Rose) directs from a script he co-wrote with frequent collaborator C. Robert Cargill.

“There’s nothing like the silence, the tension, and the reactions of a packed audience,” said Fangoria editor-in-chief Phil Nobile Jr. “We’re going beyond just curating films and cultivating the experience into a full-blown ritual.”
