The final trailer for Mortal Kombat II just launched and tickets are now available, but will the upcoming movie be getting its own popcorn bucket and other in-theater collectibles?
First up, Regal has unveiled the Mortal Kombat II collectibles that are coming soon to their theaters, and included in the mix is an epic Shao Kahn Collectible Popcorn Bucket!
Regal’s Mortal Kombat II merchandise includes:
- Shao Kahn Popcorn Container
- MK Logo Dragon Light Up Cup
- Double Combo with Collectible Cups & Bucket
Additionally, AMC Theatres will be handing out collectible packs of Upper Deck trading cards for IMAX attendees opening weekend, while Cinemark will be offering up a Johnny Cage Collectible Popcorn Bucket that’s shaped like a Hollywood clapperboard.
It looks like AMC Theatres will also have a Mortal Kombat II popcorn bucket that’s shaped like a retro arcade cabinet, which of course pays tribute to the classic history of the franchise.

Mortal Kombat II will have IMAX early fan event screenings on May 6 before opening nationwide on May 8 via Warner Bros. And this time, the actual tournament is taking place…
The fan favorite champions — now joined by Johnny Cage (Karl Urban) — are pitted against one another in the ultimate, no-holds barred, gory battle to defeat the dark rule of Shao Kahn that threatens the very existence of the Earthrealm and its defenders.
Shao Kahn is being played by Martyn Ford. The iconic Mortal Kombat villain is the Emperor of the Outworld, and he’s on full display in the brand new final trailer that launched today.
