Genre favorites Ruby Modine (Happy Death Day, Silent Night, Deadly Night) and Richard Harmon (Final Destination Bloodlines, Trick ‘r Treat) will star in A Most Delightful Game, Variety reports.
Currently shooting in British Columbia, Canada, the horror thriller also features Karin Konoval (Planet of the Apes trilogy, Black Christmas 2006).
Set in the 1980s, the film follows a young woman’s quest for answers about her sister’s tragic passing, leading her to a death-plagued highway where she must confront an unknown evil.
Boman Modine — son of Mathew Modine and brother to Ruby — makes his feature directorial debut from a script he co-wrote with Cynthia Mersten.
Amazing Ape Productions (Longlegs, “Chilling Adventures of Sabrina”) is creating the special effects for the production.
Artem Vasilyev of Lazy Sunday and Vladislav Severtsev of 10/09 Films produce, in association with Hadron Films’ Chris Wilkinson & Ryan Marchant.
