The first teaser trailer for Evil Dead Burn has arrived, but it’s now playing only in movie theaters. The trailer is attached to Lee Cronin’s The Mummy, and you won’t yet find it online.
What we can give you, however, is the brand new release date for Evil Dead Burn that was revealed by the short teaser trailer that’s now playing ahead of The Mummy.
The sixth film in the horror franchise was originally set for theatrical release on July 24, 2026 from New Line and Warner Bros., but it will now possess theaters July 10, 2026.
Yes, we’re getting Evil Dead Burn two weeks earlier than expected!
The teaser is VERY short, offering just enough Deadite carnage to whet your appetite. It offers up a killer unbroken shot of a young woman attempting to escape from a house that seems to be absolutely infested with Deadites, with torn up bodies dropping all around her. It’s pure Evil Dead mayhem, and we’ll be sure to let you know as soon as it’s available online.
Evil Dead Burn is directed by French filmmaker Sébastien Vaniček, who impressed horror fans – including Sam Raimi! – with his debut feature Infested back in 2024.
The cast for Evil Dead Burn includes…
- Souheila Yacoub (Dune: Part Two)
- Hunter Doohan (“Wednesday”)
- Luciane Buchanan (“The Night Agent”)
- Tandi Wright (Pearl)
- George Pullar (It Only Takes a Night)
Plot details for Evil Dead Burn are still under wraps, but Vaniček previously said, “I told the studio that I wanted to make a nasty film, a film that hurts, from which you come away tested.
“I’m going to put all the horror I have inside, it will be cathartic, and if I haven’t ruined my career and I can continue to make films behind it, I will move on to something other than horror!”
Evil Dead Burn will be followed by Evil Dead Wrath, in theaters April 7, 2028!
