The new Scary Movie poster features the film’s characters gathered in a movie theater — a motif established by the 2000 original that continued through all four previous sequels.
Empire also released a new still featuring Marlon Wayans gaming with Ghostface.
The sixth installment in the horror parody franchise hits theaters — including 4DX, Dolby Cinema, and premium large formats — on June 5 from Paramount.
“People want to feel good again,” Wayans tells Empire. “It’s been a long time since we felt good, and laughter is bonding, and when was the last time we all came together as a country, as a world, to just sit down and laugh at each other and with each other?”
Wayans reunites with fellow franchise favorites Anna Faris, Regina Hall, Shawn Wayans, Dave Sheridan, Lochlyn Munro, Cheri Oteri, Chris Elliott, and Jon Abrahams in the legacy sequel.
The ensemble includes Damon Wayans Jr., Gregg Wayans, Kim Wayans, Benny Zielke, Cameron Scott Roberts, Heidi Gardner, Olivia Rose Keegan, Ruby Snowber, Savannah Lee Nassif, Sydney Park, Kenan Thompson, and Felissa Rose.

Scary Movie will slash through reboots, remakes, requels, prequels, sequels, spin-offs, elevated horror, origin stories, anything with the word legacy in it, and every “final chapter” that absolutely isn’t final.
