The lines of reality and delusion will blur this summer in Time of Death.
Deadline reports that Vertical has acquired the horror-thriller and will release it in select theaters and on PVOD June 12.
Michael Kelly (“The Penguin,” Dawn of the Dead 2004) stars with Kevin Pollak (End of Days), Mena Suvari (Vampires of the Velvet Lounge), and Dennis Haysbert (Send Help).
Set inside an isolated, decaying prison, the film follows one man’s journey down a sinister, winding path of lies, corruption, and buried secrets.
Will Wernick (Escape Room 2017, Follow Me) directs from a script by Jason Rosen. They also produce alongside Kelly Delson, Jeff Delson, and Kyle David Crosby.
“Working with Michael, watching him bring Frank Morley to life alongside Kevin, Dennis, and Mena, has been surreal and incredibly fulfilling,” said Wernick. “Their performances support the film’s unpredictable, haunting narrative and give it real emotional weight.
