Based on the classic Mattel toy line, the sci-fi action-adventure film opens in theaters — including Dolby Cinema, 4DX, and D-BOX — on June 5 via Amazon MGM Studios.
After being separated for 15 years, the Sword of Power leads Prince Adam back to Eternia, where he discovers his home shattered under the fiendish rule of Skeletor. Mattel launched Masters of the Universe with a toy line in 1982 followed by the “He-Man and the Masters of the Universe” cartoon from 1983-1985. The franchise now includes multiple animated series, toy lines, comics, video games, and books, along with a 1987 live-action film.
