Don’t worry about seeing Blind Cop before watching the Blind Cop 2 trailer — because it doesn’t exist.
Rather, Blind Cop 2 is a spiritual sequel to the over-the-top action movies of the ’80s and ’90s, embracing outrageous violence and absurdist humor in equal measure.
In the standalone film, when an influx of illegal weapons trafficking explodes onto the scene, a grieving blind police officer must purge the city streets or risk mass chaos breaking loose.
Alec Bonk makes his feature directorial debut from a script he co-wrote with cinematographer Augustin Huffman and Isaac McKinnon.
George Fearing stars in the title role alongside McKinnon, Brandon Despain (All Hallows Eve), Steven Vogel (Clown Motel), and former NFL player Demingo Graham.
Blind Cop 2 will be released on Digital May 29 via Chroma. It also has a few screenings lined up with Bonk in attendance:

So, when I decided to make my first feature film with my close collaborators, I thought: why not make a spiritual sequel to all these hyper-macho heroes I loved as a kid?” explained Bonk. “Now after 10 years of work we are happy to share Blind Cop 2 with audiences across the world.”
