Kathryn Newton (Abigail, Lisa Frankenstein, Ready or Not 2: Here I Come) is back this summer in new shark attack movie The Devil’s Mouth, and we’ve learned this week that the Prime Original horror movie will be premiering on Prime Video this coming July.

Kathryn Newton and Lana Condor (Pretty Lethal) star in The Devil’s Mouth as college friends who, on a trip en route to Thailand, get trapped in an underwater cave system with a bull shark. Old tensions and power struggles resurface as they fight to survive.
Jeff Wadlow (Truth or Dare, Kick-Ass 2) directs the shark attack movie from a script he revised from Aja Gabel (“Sunny”) and Myung Joh Wesner (“Star Wars: Skeleton Crew”).
Amazon MGM Studios and Lionsgate are co-producing the horror project. Wadlow produces alongside Basil Iwanyk & Erica Lee of Thunder Road Films (John Wick, Sicario).
The upcoming survival thriller The Devil’s Mouth has been rated PG-13 by the MPA for “violent content, bloody images, some language, and suggestive material.”
