Georgia Bernstein makes her feature directorial debut with the psychosexual horror movie Night Nurse, and Variety reports that Independent Film Company has picked up the film.
Independent Film Company will release Night Nurse on July 10, 2026.
Variety details, “the psychosexual thriller explores a darker side to caregiving.”
“The film follows a retirement community disrupted by a series of scam calls as a nurse (Cemre Paksoy) becomes entangled with her mysterious patient (Bruce McKenzie).”
Mimi Rogers (Ginger Snaps) also stars in Night Nurse.
Georgia Bernstein directed the horror film and also wrote the screenplay.
“Georgia is an incredibly exciting talent whose debut feature drew us in from the very first frame,” said Rachel Labes from Independent Film Company. “It’s rare to encounter such bold and boundary-pushing filmmaking, and we’re thrilled to bring it to audiences this summer.”
